in March 9th, 2011 @ 18:08The Tigers are no different than any other team. Look at the Yankees and their injury list. Morale is relative to each team. All teams are tired at this point in the season. The really isn’t any excuse for the Tigers losing their grip on the division. Maybe they are just not good enough yet. I see the Twins with their pitching blowing right by the Tigers. They should still make the playoffs with the White Sox the odd team out.

But seriously, I think they have the attitude of a team that is coasting on the assuption that they have already made the post season. That’s pretty sound and a lot of teams do it in every sport. The White Sox still suck so even if they lose their division, the Tigers will get the wild card.

I think they may have played themselve out and they played so well all year that they are just having their down time now. Bad timing.
I am a White Sox fan, but I predicted the Twins coming on 3 months ago.
